A school has stood by a warning over a popular childrens app, despite questions being raised over where it came from.
A letter sent to parents of pupils at Bredhurst Church of England Primary School, in Gillingham, said police had raised concerns over the Roblox app .
It claimed children had received inappropriate messages with the characters on the screen being involved in “very adult things”.
Now it has emerged the warning came not from Kent Police but from the EST eSafety Campaign.
However headteacher, Michelle Cox, has told Kentlive the message remains relevant saying it was released after it was discovered youngsters were being contacted by strangers.
